Everyone wants their website to be attractive, eye-catching and impressive. Although you pay attention to the words or the copy and images you use, another important aspect of your website that is often overlooked are the colours. Why colours are so important? Just like you can use words to communicate a certain message, colours can also be used as a communication tool because colours speak volumes on their own.

First consider what your site is about, is it a business site, an educational site, a charity site? If your site is a business site, then what are the products and services you offer? It could be financial products, food, clothing, travel agency etc. Then study your target audience and decide what the message you want to express in colours is. And then pick a good colour combination that is appropriate to your business, appealing to your target customers and persuading them to buy your products.
